Professional Experience

May 2009  – Started Brackman Consulting

I wanted to help people with AV installations and purchases save the time, money and frustrations that I have witnessed in so many installs and portable system purchases over the years.  I have a love for this field and the opportunity to help anyone enjoy the feeling of having an awesome event, show, or service makes me enjoy every moment!

Recently, I turned down a job offer from the sound company I worked for previously so that I can continue to be available to my clients to help them get the most out of their current or future systems.

Teenager turned loose with AV!

This is the point where I was just in a learning phase.  The church basically turned me loose with thousands upon thousands of dollars in gear and let me learn.  I spent many late nights fixing things, then breaking them, then learning how to fix what I broke by reading every manual I could.  I learned a lot of basics those years and to this day I still believe that a solid understanding of the basics is vital.

The leadership there was and still is a very patient and understanding.  I owe a lot of both what I know and who I am to this church as a whole.  I still work with them to help make sure the church systems operate at their best performance.
